First lot of clothing sent off for recycling by ΄All Together for Corfu΄

CORFU. The voluntary group ΄All Together for Corfu΄ sent off the first lot of clothing for recycling yesterday.
30m3of clothing was sent off to the RECYCOM recycling facility in Attica.
Spyros Neratzis from 'All Together for Corfu' said, "It gives us great pleasure that this first set of clothing and all the others that will follow won't end up in Temploni or Lefkimmi but will leave Corfu and be utilised by the RECYCOM facility. It can also clearly be seen that people want to take part in the recycling of all materials.
We would like to thank the following:
- The volunteers Vassilis Merkouris and Kostas Koulouris, who have borne the responsibility of collection, storage, sorting and loading of the clothing since our efforts began.
- The transportation professionals Anisilao (Lilo) Kouris and Petros Petropoulos, who once again have given their voluntary assistance in the loading and, chiefly, the transportation of the recyclable materials.
It goes without saying that the work continues."
