CORFU. The opening of the "Town-Stage" Festival presented the Old Municipal Theatre - which was once the architectural jewel of the island.
DIPETHE (Municipal & Regional Theatre) opened its annual festival with digital imaging of the Old Municipal Theatre created by Thanasis Tsipis from the University IT Department and Dr. Vassilis Komianos from the Department of Audiovisual Arts, supervised by Konstantinos Economos, Dean of the Ionian University IT Department.
The opening ceremony was followed by a jazz concert with artistic director Giorgos Kontrafouri.
The "Town-Stage" Festival runs from 8 to 18 May.
