΄All Together for Corfu΄: Recycling of clothing!

'All Together for Corfu' with Spyros Neratzis is continuing its voluntary activities in an effort to develop the culture of recycling. This time it is a kind of recycling that people in Corfu haven't been seriously involved in - old clothing and shoes.

Statement from All Together for Corfu

As part of our ongoing voluntary efforts to develop the culture of recycling we are organising an event on Saturday 20 April to recycle used clothing and shoes.

Our group is now working with RECYCOM - the Greek Company for Recycling Clothes and Shoes.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the following:
- Municipality of Corfu
- Corfu, Paxos and Diapontia Islands Metropolis
- Catholic Archbishopric of Corfu, Zakynthos and Cephalonia
- Hellenic Red Cross
- Corfu Scouts
- Social Cooperative Enterprise 'New Horizons' - Corfu Community Shop

Saturday's event is taking place at Pentofanero from 12:00 to 14:30. There will be special red recycling bins and members of the public will be able to learn how to use them easily.

There will also be information about how to recycle clothes via the aforementioned bodies and RECYCOM.

We look forward to seeing you and please bring clean items that you no longer need:
- Men's, women's and children's clothing and pairs of shoes.
- White items such as pillow cases, sheets etc.
- Bags and belts.
