Two arrested for heroin trafficking in Corfu

CORFU. Police confiscated 100g heroin, electronic precision scales, 1,400 Euros in cash plus other items.
Corfu Drug Squad solved a case of heroin trafficking and arrested a man and woman aged 52 and 53 on Tuesday 15 January. Having discovered their method of distribution the police were able to catch the two people.
The woman was found to be in possession of a package with 100.9g heroin and police also found the following in their possession:
- 1,400 Euros
- Electronic scales
- 2 mobile phones
Felony charges were brought against them of narcotics trafficking and the two were taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
