Yesterday΄s Albania-Corfu swim in aid of ΄The Smile of the Child΄

All the proceeds from the swim will go to The Smile of the Child to cover the needs of the children that the organization brings up and supports. The number of participants this year was greater than in the previous swim - 58 swimmers from the UK, France, Canada, Greece and Albania.

The swimmers set off from Examilion near Agia Saranda and finished in Agios Stefanos Sinion - a distance of 3km.

After the crossing had been completed, swimmers, spectators and visitors displayed a message protesting against the selling-off and destruction of Erimitis.
