CORFU. The 3rd Albania - Corfu channel swim will be taking place on Saturday 8 September. All proceeds will go to The Smile of the Child.
There will be 57 swimmers taking part in the swim including the world champion long distance and ice swimmer Haris Theodosis.
At 08:00 in the morning a boat will take the swimmers across to the Albanian coast. The crossing will set off from Examilion near Agia Saranda and will finish in Agios Stefanos Sinion - a distance of 3km. Depending on the swimmers' abilities, the time required should be between 50 and 90 minutes.
