CORFU. Regional Governor Theodoros Galiatsatos put his signature to the project ΄Construction and Equipping of a Green Point in Corfu Municipality΄ with a budget of 1,162,506 Euros.
Regional Governor Theodoros Galiatsatos put his signature to the inclusion of the project 'Construction and Equipping of a Green Point in Corfu Municipality' in the programme ' Maintenance and Protection of the Environment - Furtherance of the Efficient Use of Resources', Ionian Islands Business Programme 2014-20 with a budget of 1,162,506 Euros.
The project involves the construction of a large Green Point in Central Corfu on the Municipal land located in 'Kamonas-Bartsa-Athei' in Kinopiastes.
The facility and equipment conform completely with the relevant specifications and include fencing, construction of a suitably designed covered area for the containers and box pallets so that there can be proper sorting of deposited materials, construction of a security office, hiring of personnel etc.
The design conforms with Special Needs specifications.
The project will commence on 15th January 2019 and will be completed by 30th June 2020.
The project is co-funded by the Cohesion Fund.
