CORFU. 1967 - Deaths and injuries at Corfu Airport.
1967: Whilst the King of Greece was being welcomed at Corfu Airport, the balcony on the control tower collapsed due to the large number of people.
Three people died and thirty-five were injured. Seven of those injured had serious injuries and had to be flown to Athens.
