CORFU. Within the next few days 4 new amphibious wheelchairs which the Municipality has just received will be allocated to 4 Corfu beaches
The Municipality now has 13 amphibious wheelchairs which, along with the 5 belonging to the Regional Special Needs Society, put it amongst the best in the world for providing access to the sea for those with mobility problems and elderly people.
Once the 4 new wheelchairs have been allocated a map will be issued showing the Corfu beaches that are accessible to those with special needs.
