Baling machine out of operation again - refuse collection on hold

CORFU. The baling machine broke down again on Tuesday morning.
The contractor assured the Cleansing Services that it would be back in operation by Wednesday afternoon at the latest.
According to information from the local authority, there is space for bales at the Temploni facility for another 3 weeks' refuse collection - as long as the baler is operating normally. In this case, the most optimistic amount of time available before there is an attempt to transfer the bales to Lefkimmi is three weeks.
This may indicate a possible resumption of hostilities and problems with refuse collection at the end of this month.
