CORFU. Residents΄ Association held a meeting with the recent legalization of the use of the Lefkimmi facility as the main topic.
"We will use all legal means available to obstruct the operation of Lefkimmi landfill (not residue landfill)," declared the Lefkimmi Cultural Society. At their meeting on Wednesday night, members discussed the latest developments, in particular the recent granting of permission for the temporary transfer of waste bales from Temploni to Lefkimmi.
Regarding the Regional Governor's remarks last night, President Maria Kontomari told Enimerosi, "We won't repond now - we'll announce when we give our response."
