Donation of paramedical equipment to the Old People΄s Home from Corfu Rotary Club

CORFU. The donation was made to cover the needs of residents.
Members of the Corfu 'Capodistrias' Rotary Club, led by President Yiannis Gavalas, presented the Corfu Old People's Home with a gift of paramedical equipment on Saturday 26th May for the use of the Home's residents.
The delegation from the Rotary Club was received by the Director of the Home, Alexis Mavrozoumis, who thanked the rotarians and discussed with them the general needs in human resources and equipment and how the latter could be covered by donors and sponsors.
They also discussed the immediate need for the front of the building to be repaired and for a solution to the problem of damp in the building, which hasn't had any maintenance work for over 15 years. Mr. Mavrozoumis said that they were waiting for the technical survey from municipal department and hope that the necessary funds could then be found.
The members of the 'Capodistrias' Rotary Club promised that, to the best of their ability, they would be available for support.
