Protest concert against the use of Lefkimmi landfill facility

CORFU. Lefkimmi residents are organizing a concert with the following slogan - ΄No to the criminalization of the people of Lefkimmi - No to the illegal operation of the Mesorahia (Lefkimmi) landfill΄.
Following the general assembly on Sunday evening, the Lefkimmi Cultural Society announced that it would be organizing a big concert at Lefkimmi River on Saturday 2 June at 20:00.
The Society President posted the following:
"For twenty days now, the 'rule of law' has been pulling Lefkimmi residents in front of the police because they dare to oppose the destruction of our area. We call on all the democratic citizens of Corfu to stand up against the victimization of whole families because they took part in protest rallies against the landfill! Today it's us - tomorrow it could be you!"
The Society President posted the following:
