CORFU. The Municipality of Corfu has lodged a complaint about what happened this morning when work crews from the Power Company (DEDDIE), the Municipality and the Water Company (DEYAK) went to Lefkimmi.
The crews went there to repair the access road to the South Corfu landfill along with the power and water supply. They met resistance from about 100 people who verbally abused and threatened the personnel from the Municipality and Solid Waste Management Association who were under threat of bodily harm.
The Municipality of Corfu has already filed a lawsuit against those responsible.
