Garitsa Seafront Road: One-way system and other traffic regulations

CORFU. Parking is strictly forbidden along this section of the pavement.
In order to implement the project ‘Restoration of NAOK (Corfu Nautical Club) seafront wall, stone facing, pavements and barriers on Garitsa Seafront Road – New Contract’, new traffic regulations will apply within the next days. Specifically:
The Regional Authority (Corfu) will make a further announcement with the exact start date for the new traffic regulations.
- One-way system on Dimokratias Ave. from the Douglas Column to the crossroads with Akadimias St. towards Corfu centre.
- At the Eleftherias St and Akadimias St. crossroads turning left will be prohibited.
- Cars driving towards the airport and Garitsa will have to drive along Rizospaston Voulefton St. and Alexandras Ave., while pedestrians will only be able to use the west side (opposite the seafront) pavement.
- Parking in this section of pedestrianisation is strictly forbidden.
The Regional Authority (Corfu) will make a further announcement with the exact start date for the new traffic regulations.
