CORFU. Corfu Multiple Sclerosis Society cut its New Year cake at the local office with members and friends attending.
Amongst those present were the Deputy Mayor for Employment, Social Services and Volunteerism, Alekos Michalas, and the Deputy Mayor for Welfare, Social Policy, Support and Volunteerism, Andreas Skoupouras, who declared their complete support for the Society.
Another dear friend of the Society who attended the event was the neurologist Mr. Papoulias.
The Society’s President and doctor, Spyros Antonakis, gave a brief opening address in which he once again gave a message of hope to MS sufferers. Dr. Antonakis was also the lucky winner of the ‘flouri’ in the New Year cake!
The Society then announced its 3-day trip in February for those with MS, friends and doctors.
