Small house fires in Corfu

CORFU. Fire broke out yesterday morning at about 8 o’clock on the balcony of a house in Lofo Koyevina. According to the Fire Service, the fire started in an oil heating burner on the balcony.
Thanks to the immediate response of the Fire Service, the fire was quickly extinguished without causing too much damage and before it had time to spread in the residential area.
There were another two house fires in Potamos on Monday.
The first, which was put out quickly by the Fire Service, was in a kitchen and caused minor damage in the immediate area.
The second was a chimney fire – again quickly extinguished before causing further damage.
