Large number of arrests in Ionian Islands over the last 24 hours

IONIAN ISLANDS. There have been extensive inspections by the Regional Police over the last 24 hours to prevent trading and other offences in the Ionian Islands.
Police teams from Corfu, Cephalonia, Zakynthos and Lefkada carried out inspections on 29th and 30th December in several areas and had the following results:
Corfu – 13 arrests
There were 12 health offences and 123 driving offences (Corfu 65, Cephalonia 36, Zakynthos 11 and Lefkada 10).
Corfu – 13 arrests
- 1 for drugs offence
- 3 for not having a health certificate
- 9 for driving without a licence
- 2 for weapon offences
- 5 for not having a health certificate
- 1 for driving without a licence
- 1 for illegal trading
- 3 for not having a health certificate
- 4 for driving without a licence
- 1 was wanted
- 2 for driving without a licence
There were 12 health offences and 123 driving offences (Corfu 65, Cephalonia 36, Zakynthos 11 and Lefkada 10).
