New water borehole in Karousades
CORFU. An additional 500 cubic metres of water per day for North Corfu.
(North Corfu Municipality) The new borehole in the Klairi area of Karousades has been put into operation, supplying the local network with 500 cubic metres of water per day.
This development strengthens water pressure, improves supply adequacy, and meets the increased needs of residents and businesses, especially during the summer period.
The Municipality of North Corfu and North Corfu DEYA are continuing work on infrastructure and pumping stations to improve the network. The next step is the utilisation of the borehole at Rachtades.
At the same time, consumers are asked not to waste water and to settle or arrange payment plans for any outstanding debts. The cooperation of citizens is essential for maintaining infrastructure and creating new projects.
