Agathos family donates €85,000 for purchase of modern laparoscopic tower
CORFU. The new state-of-the-art equipment substantially enhances the capabilities of the hospital’s operating theatres.
The Administration of Corfu General Hospital expresses its warm and sincere thanks to Mrs. Ina Agathou for her generous donation of €85,000 for the procurement of a modern high-definition laparoscopic tower, in accordance with the wish of her husband, Nikos Agathos.
This donation forms part of the Agathos family’s longstanding and meaningful contribution to the local community, clearly demonstrating the sense of responsibility and solidarity that characterises them.
The new innovative equipment significantly upgrades the capabilities of the hospital’s operating theatres, offering exceptional image quality and high precision during laparoscopic general surgery procedures. The advanced imaging allows for:
