Residents want Mouragia to be pedestrianised

The people of Corfu responded to a survey by the popular Facebook Group “Your Complaints to the Mayor,” about turning the street - which is currently closed to traffic due to works - into a pedestrian zone.
Answering the question of whether they would like the area from Bosketo to the old courthouse to become a pedestrian zone, 88% of those who took part responded positively.
According to the same post, 4,500 people participated in the poll, 505 of whom are members of the Group.

And all this comes at a time when the project is being completed faster than expected, and decisions on permanent and final traffic arrangements are becoming urgent.
