Guidelines from Municipality for Easter Week special lighting

As part of the preparations for the Easter religious celebrations, the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality will begin the necessary work on Easter Monday to install special purple lighting on the lamps of the Liston buildings.

The Municipal Everyday Life Service informs business owners in the Old Town who wish to illuminate the exterior spaces of their businesses in the same manner that, in order to achieve a uniform and aesthetically harmonious result, the light bulbs must meet the following technical specifications:

1. TYPE

   • 4 WATT

   • 360 LM

2. BASE

   • E14 (THIN)

   • E27 (THICK)

3. PURPLE GEL FILTER

Business owners can purchase these specific bulbs from electrical supply stores or large department stores.
