΄Anna Mouzakiti΄ Preventive Medical Programme in Acharavi completed
CORFU. More than 180 members of the public participated and were examined completely free of charge, while over 1,000 informational leaflets were distributed.
The 2nd “Anna Mouzakiti” Preventive Medicine Programme was completed successfully, organised by the Municipality of North Corfu in collaboration with Corfu General Hospital and the Corfu Association of Independent Physicians over the three days of January 17-19, at the Multipurpose Regional Health Centre in Acharavi.
The initiative focused on prostate cancer and skin cancer prevention, as well as streetwork activities (distribution of informational leaflets on skin protection from the sun) carried out by members of the Corfu Regional Branch of the Hellenic Red Cross for residents. More than 180 members of the public participated and were examined free of charge, while over 1,000 informational leaflets were distributed.
