Man, 73, arrested for cruel treatment of donkey

CORFU. The man appeared before the Corfu Prosecutor.
A 73-year-old man was arrested on Monday afternoon, 15/10, for violation of animal welfare law.
Police officers from the North Corfu Department arrested the man following a complaint, as it was found that he was treating a donkey cruelly, resulting in its injury.
The case was investigated by the North Corfu Police Department, and in addition, the perpetrator was also fined an administrative penalty of 5,000 euros.
He was taken to appear before the Corfu Prosecutor.
