CORFU. Brave decision to donate organs and give life to someone else.
The family of the Corfu businessman who has been in the Intensive Care Unit for the past two weeks took the brave decision to donate his organs. The 50-year-old had suffered cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Since that time, however, he has shown no sign of recovery.
The operation to donate his organs will take place tonight with special medical teams being flown in by the Air Force to Corfu Hospital in the early hours of the morning.
