As part of a week of activities promoting the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands is organising two days of screenings, sending out its own message that “prevention saves lives”.
On Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, free breast examinations by palpation will be available at the Gynaecology Clinic of Corfu Health Centre. The examinations will be carried out by gynaecologist Tania Elmatzoglou. Women who wish to do so will also be able to obtain an online prescription for a mammogram.
No appointment is necessary.
