Corfu dons pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Week

CORFU. 19–25 October: A week dedicated to the power of prevention, raising awareness and hope for the future.
The Corfu Branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society, in collaboration with organisations across the island and volunteer groups, invites you to take part in a series of activities celebrating care, awareness and solidarity.
Programme of Events (19–25 October)
19–24 October: Daily street activities at locations around Corfu to raise public awareness.
20, 21 & 22 October: FREE breast palpation and clinical breast examinations at the 1st Local Health Unit (TOMY) in Corfu.
Thursday 22 October (18:00–20:00): An information event at the hall of the Medical-Surgical Society, featuring talks and discussions on breast cancer.
Sunday 25 October (16:30 | Lower Square, Corfu Town): The highlight of the campaign! We all wear pink tops and form a giant human pink ribbon, sending a powerful message across the island.
Because breast cancer affects us all. Prevention, awareness and solidarity are our strength!
