Temporary water supply outage in Kynopiastes and nearby areas
CORFU. Wednesday 11 March.
A large part of central Corfu will remain without water on Wednesday, March 11, due to scheduled maintenance works on the water supply network.
According to an official announcement by the President of the Kynopiastes Community, Dimitris Sourvinos, the outage is necessary in order for a specialised crew from DEYAK to carry out cleaning works inside the water tanks, ensuring the quality of the water delivered to consumers.
The outage is expected to affect the area from the centre of the village up to the outskirts of Corfu Town. The following areas will be affected:

Kynopiastes village

Tzera and Milia

Achilleiou National Road and Paipodena

Ponti, Mitaniola, and Vryoni

Chrysida and the Gini area (up to the Metro shop)
Residents and business owners in the above areas are advised to store an adequate amount of water in advance to cover their basic needs. Water supply will be gradually restored after the completion of the works by DEYAK crews.
