4th Preventive Healthcare Initiative for Roma community children
CORFU. The ongoing goal of these initiatives is vaccination and, more broadly, the assessment of vaccination coverage among children of the Roma community.
(Central Corfu Municipality) The Deputy Mayor of Social Protection and Care, together with the staff of the Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality Community Centre – Roma Branch, announce that the 4th Preventive Medical Initiative for children of the Roma community will take place on Thursday, January 15, at the Roma Branch in Ropa Valley.
This initiative is part of a series of Preventive Medical Seminars for the Roma Community, organised in collaboration with the Corfu Medical-Social Centre (formerly PIKPA). It will feature the participation of paediatrician Ermioni-Theofania Alamanou and public health nurses Spyridoula Tsarkou, Evridiki Spinoula, and Niki Mouzakiti.
The primary goal of these initiatives is to ensure vaccinations and monitor vaccination coverage among children of the Roma community, as well as to provide guidance and schedule necessary vaccinations for children up to 16 years of age.
