Man, 86, loses life at Dassia beach

CORFU. The Central Port Authority, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, has ordered an autopsy to be carried out.
An 86-year-old man lost his life on Wednesday afternoon, September 10, at Dassia beach.
According to the coast guard, the man, a German national, was pulled unconscious from the sea. He was then given first aid (CPR) by lifeguards. An ambulance arrived at the scene and transported the man to Corfu Hospital, where his death was confirmed.
