CORFU. The case was assigned to the Port Police, which has jurisdiction due to the area outside the Mon Repos beach being on the coast.
At least three individuals attacked a person on Wednesday afternoon in the middle of the street, right outside the entrance to Mon Repos beach. A patrol car was called and arrived shortly afterward, finding the injured individual inside the beach premises.
The case has been handed over to the Port Police, which has jurisdiction due to the area’s coastal nature. The scene was disturbing, and several eyewitnesses contacted the newspaper.
