The mother of the Central Corfu Municipality Deputy Mayor of Finance, Fani Tsimpouli, lost her life on Wednesday morning, June 11.
According to reports, the 80-year-old woman had gone for a swim at Ipsos beach, where she was found dead.
The woman was taken to Corfu Hospital, where the cause of her death will be determined.
