Traffic measures for Carnival events on Sunday 23 February
CORFU. Which streets in Corfu Town will be closed to traffic.
Special traffic regulations for the carnival events on Sunday, February 23, from 14:00 to 18:00, will be implemented in Corfu Town.
The following streets will be closed to traffic:
(i) Mitropoliti Methodiou Street, except for the outbound section from Zafeiropoulou Street to Donatos Dimoulitsas Street.
(ii) Andreas Dendrinou Street.
(iii) Georgiou Theotoki Square, from its intersection with Donatos Dimoulitsas Street to Mitropoliti Methodiou Street.
(iv) Georgiou Theotoki Street.
(v) Alexandras Avenue, from its intersection with Rizospaston Voulefton Street to Georgiou Theotoki Square.
(vi) Mantzarou Street, from its intersection with Rizospaston Voulefton Street to Georgiou Theotoki Street.
(vii) Lochagou Vlaikou Street, from its intersection with Gerasimou Markora Street to Georgiou Theotoki Street.
(viii) Viktoros Dousmani Street.
Additionally, heavy vehicles (lorries and buses) will be prohibited:
(ix) Along the entire length of Lochagou Vlaikou Street.
(x) On Eptanissou Avenue, from the roundabout (Rigas Feraios) to its intersection with Mitropoliti Methodiou Street.
