638 driving offences in Ionian Islands last week

CORFU. 351 of the offences were in Corfu.
Traffic Police carried out checks between 9/2 and 15/2 in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada.
1,967 vehicles were checked
638 offences were confirmed (351 in Corfu, 114 in Zakynthos, 100 in Cephalonia and 73 in Lefkada).
These included the following:
- 302 for illegal parking
- 124 for speeding
- 31 for MOT violations
- 29 for driving without a licence
- 23 for not using helmets
- 21 for not using seat belts
- 19 for driving without insurance
- 9 for driving under the influence
