CORFU. The autopsy findings left no room for any interpretation other than murder. The incident had been preceded by a dispute between the two brothers.

The autopsy report leaves no doubt about the cause of death of the 70-year-old in Zygos. It was a homicide, as he was found stabbed and with cranio-cerebral injuries.

Earlier, his 56-year-old brother had been brought in for questioning and eventually confessed to being the perpetrator of the killing. After all, he was the one who initially claimed to have discovered him fatally injured—something he later retracted in front of the police.

Apparently, the two had repeatedly drawn attention in their small village community due to their frequent arguments.
