A 27-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into parked cars shortly after 12:00 on Monday. The accident occurred at the 2nd km of Eth. Pelekas Rd (before the Felix Lames turn towards Lofos Kogevina) heading from the town towards Alepou/Pelekas.
Eyewitnesses describe the collision as severe, likely due to the speed he was travelling at. Those nearby were shocked as were the paramedics who were called out. However, it seems it was already too late.
His death is believed to have been instantaneous.
