Two women recovered dead from sea in Sidari

CORFU. The two women, aged 20 and 22, were pulled out of the sea unconscious by firefighters.
Unfortunately, the two young women who were in the sea in 'Apotrypiti' in Sidari, and for whom a full-scale rescue operation was launched by the fire department, were recovered dead.
According to more recent information, they were swimming - and didn’t fall into the sea. The tragic incident is attributed to the rough sea conditions at the location, which is exposed to northern winds.
According to the meteorological report, at the moment there is a Force 5 northwest wind blowing in the area (maistro).
