Large rock comes away and falls into Ano Garouna village!

Following the rainfall on Monday, after a long period of drought, a rock became detached in Ano Garouna. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when the rock slipped from the mountainside and fell onto the road in the village. Damage was caused to the electricity and water supply networks. Fortunately, there was no significant damage to homes, and no injuries were reported.

Mayor Stefanos Poulimenos was informed by the community president and went to the village for an initial assessment of the situation, according to his post on social media, from which the photo was also taken.
