The custom with the 'Lampatines' remains alive on the eve of Saint John's Day in many areas of the island. The residents of many villages and cities of Greece, as well as in Corfu, celebrate Saint John the Klidonas or Lampataris or Riganas. This celebration is one of the biggest summer festivals in Greek tradition and is accompanied by traditional jumping over fires and the burning of the May wreath.

In Almyros Perithia, on Saturday, June 22, at 19:30 in the Art and Culture courtyard. Celebration – Dance – Drinks – Refreshments – Souvlaki. With the Faiakes Orchestra. Organised by the Perithia Association
In Kavalouri, on Friday, June 21, in the village square at 19:00. Souvlaki, Refreshments, Beer, Loukoumades. Proceeds will go to little Nikola. Live music with the Faiakes. Organised by the Kavallouri Cultural Society.
In Kalafationes, on Sunday, June 23, at 21:00 in the village square (Foros). Organised by the Kalafationes Cultural Society.
In Spartilas, in the Panagia square, on Sunday, June 23, at 20:30, the 'Lampataria'. Music with DJ, Souvlaki and Drinks.
