Fire Department issues fines for burning grass without proper precautionary measures

CORFU. Both incidents occurred on Saturday 13 April.
Corfu Fire Department imposed fines of 500 Euros each on two foreign nationals who were burning grass without taking the proper precautionary measures. One incident was on rural land in the area of Agii Deka, in the municipality of Achilleion, and the other in Sinarades.
The administrative fines totaling 1,000 Euros were imposed by investigative officers from Corfu Fire Department.
