Checks on supply vehicles begin in Old Town

CORFU. The aim is to address infringements that destabilise life in the town.

Early this morning, the Municipal Authority started carrying out police checks on the supply vehicles for shops in the old town.

Mayor Stefanos Poulimenos had warned about the impending checks in a post. The purpose of the checks is to address the infringements that destabilise life in the town and cause damage to the paved areas.

The relevant signage for the times allowed, maximum allowable weight, and length of vehicles has been placed in Kofineta, Pentofanaro, and Spilia.
