Discussion on work at Alykes Gymnasium and NAOΚ swimming pool study

The progress of the works on the funded projects of the Indoor Gymnasium and the NAOΚ outdoor swimming pool of  is being discussed today at a meeting at Maraslio Town Hall.

Attending the meeting with the Central Corfu Mayor, Stefanos Poulimenos, are the General Director of DEPAN, Vassilis Koutsioris, the Deputy Mayor of Administration, Planning, and European Programmes, Nikos Vradis, the Deputy Mayor of Technical Services, Andreas Kordonas, the appointed advisor Stamatis Mallios, as well as other officials.

The General Director of DEPAN, who is in Corfu, will discuss and update the municipal authority on the progress of the works.

Inclusion in the Antonis Tritsis programme

There are two projects: the construction of the Indoor Gymnasium in Alykes and the preparation of a technical study for an Outdoor Swimming Pool at NAOΚ. They are included in the same decision in the "Antonis Tritsis" funding programme and are being implemented by DEPAN (Network of Greek Towns for Development) under a programming agreement signed with the Municipality.

The construction project of the Gymnasium was contracted with the contractor shortly before the end of the Ydraiou Municipality's term. As for the study project for the swimming pool, it is in progress under the technical services of DEPAN, and according to the latest extension given in January 2024, the studies are due to be delivered by July 28, 2024.
