North Corfu Municipality distributes basic necessities to local families

The Municipality of North Corfu proceeded with the distribution of essential items to 100 families in the area through the Civil Protection services and the Help at Home programme on Tuesday, 20the February. As stated in the Municipality's press release:

"This action aims to provide ongoing direct and practical support to families and individuals who are in a weak financial situation and belong to vulnerable groups in our society.

The distribution is part of a systematic and targeted effort by the Municipality of North Corfu, which, through its social services and civil protection, regularly provides 'love packages' to our fellow citizens in need, offering not only material support but also sending a message of solidarity and social cohesion.

Within the same framework, there is ongoing exploration of social needs in our social environment for individuals who are in vulnerable situations and struggle to meet their basic obligations, aiming to create a society where solidarity is a fundamental value."
