New fraud attempts targeting citizens΄ bank accounts

As the Ionian Islands Regional Police announced, there have been reports of phone fraud attempts, where scammers tried to take money out of citizens by using various pretences (market pass, money refund from energy provider etc).

We urge members of the public to be particularly cautious and, in any case, even in the event of an attempted fraud, immediately contact the police on the three-digit phone number 100.
