Bus catches fire

CORFU. The Fire Department was called out at 8:35 and three fire engines with right firefighters rushed to the scene.
Fire broke out on an urban (blue) bus this morning at the Pelika-Kontoyialous intersection. According to the president of Corfu Urban Bus Company, Mr. Pangalis, the bus was stationary when the engine caught fire.
The Fire Department received the call at approximately 8:35, and three fire engines with eight firefighters rushed to the scene. The passengers were immediately evacuated, and no one was in any danger.
The fire has now been extinguished.
Η Πυροσβεστική έλαβε την κλήση περίπου στις 08:35 και στο σημείο έσπευσαν τρία πυροσβεστικά οχήματα με οκτώ πυροσβέστες που έλαβαν μέρος στο έργο της κατάσβεσης. Οι επιβάτες απομακρύνθηκαν αμέσως χωρίς να κινδυνεύσει κανείς.
H φωτιά έχει σβηστεί.
