CORFU. Residents of the town centre (Tennis district) have been complaining in the past few days about water supply cuts, including cuts throughout the night.
Enimerosi contacted DEYAK and the latter informed that there was a water supply cut in the town due to a damage and replacement of the transformer at the pumping station in Chrysida.
As DEYAK had informed through its website, there was a significant damage in the area and problems in the operation of one of the two power transformers in the water supply facilities in Chrysida.
DEYAK stated the following: "The replacement of the power transformer is being carried out today, 9 June, and thus there will probably be problems in the water supply of Corfu Town. However, with this replacement, any problems that existed previously will be solved."
From tomorrow there will be a gradual restoration of water supply throughout the town.
