CORFU. The defibrillator is in a case available to the public, with an alarm system if it is opened and wiring for adults and children.
Corfu Rotary Club has donated a defibrillator to Sokraki for any emergencies that may occur to residents or visitors. The defibrillator is in a case available to the public, with an alarm system if it is opened and wiring for adults and children.
The request was made by Sokraki community president Dimitris Mandilas due to the fact that the village is relatively far from Corfu Town.
Mr. Mandilas said: "We thank the Rotary Club, and especially the president Dr. Apostolos Kontoyiannis and the board members, for accepting our request and coming here for the installation. We hope that medical equipment like this, which can save human lives, can be installed in as many places as possible."
