CORFU. "In its hour of need we are witnessing our healthcare facility being downgraded."
Stefanos Poulimenos expressed his grave concern regarding the ongoing resignations of reputable doctors and the undermining of Corfu General Hospital.
"The situation that has come about has quite rightly created serious concern amongst the island's residents as, in its hour of need, they witness our healthcare facility being downgraded.
It is a matter of priority and the Ministry of Health is obliged to intervene and, if the reports regarding the responsibility of the hospital administration are confirmed, changes must be imposed. This dire decline must be halted immediately."
