Work has begun on this year's Christmas Village in Old Town Hall Square. The official opening is at 18:00 on Saturday 10 December.
According to the organising committee, the 'Christmas Fairy Tale' will have a lot of surprises, events, gifts for children, 'tiganites' and lots of mulled wine.
The cost of this year's events comes to €70,000.
