Central Corfu Christmas Village opens

CORFU. The Christmas Village is in the Old Town Hall Square.
The Christmas events at the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipal Christmas Village began on Saturday, December 21.
The programme for the first day included:

'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society (percussion ensemble)

Borgo Potamos Choir, Kontokali Choir and Corfu Mandolinata (joint performance)

Festive treats: Mulled red wine and chestnuts
Mayor Stefanos Poulimenos wrote on his personal social media account:
"Christmas carols by the mixed Borgo Potamos and Kontokali Choirs, accompanied by the Corfu Mandolinata, marked the start of the Christmas festivities in the Old Town Hall Square.
Also participating were the Percussion Ensemble of the 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Society and a dance group from the Eva Petropoulou Dance School."
